6th February,2019 Acting Chief Superintendent Tevita Vailea confirms that police have charged the five men arrested yesterday morning with murder, in relation to the death of Mr. Sione Feimoefiafi (49) of Puke and Portland USA.
Mr. Feimoefiafi was admitted to Vaiola Hospital on Monday afternoon 4 February and died of his injuries later that day.
All five accused persons are in police custody while investigation continues.
A/CSP Vailea also confirms that the Police Commissioner has instructed the closure of the Tali’eva Bar until further notice.
